The GSCID acknowledges the importance of education and the vital role that it plays in providing the fundamental building blocks for a brighter future and promoting personal growth.

It is for this reason that the GSCID has decided to support and ‘adopt’ an Educare Centre in Mowbray and will be enrolling the child of a homeless client in the Gingerbread House Children Educare Centre from the start of 2017.

The GSCID will also regularly supply ingredients for the lunches that are prepared and served to the children at the centre in support and acknowledgement of the excellent service they are providing to the community.

The GSCID is also planning to assist with future maintenance projects at the Educare centre.
