Staff of the GSCID and the Spire Property Group teamed up recently to tackle the litter problem on the Liesbeeck River Trail behind Rondebosch Pick n Pay (Belmont Bridge).
The Spire Property team put on their wellingtons and got busy cleaning up along the river bank and in the river, collecting all kinds of litter. The clean-up was extremely successful, resulting in 70 full bags of waste matter.
The GSCID extends its thanks to Gregg Huntingford and the Spire Property team for dedicating their time and effort toward improving our environment.
